By removing a wall between the Kitchen and Dining Room and replacing it with an 11-foot island, it was possible to enjoy views of Prospect Park from the Kitchen. A curved, solid-cherry-wood counter faces the Dining Room and a seamless Corian counter with integrated double sinks faces the Kitchen. Full-height cherry cabinets in the Kitchen and Pantry contrast the painted cabinetry framing artwork in the Dining Room.
